Xinhua reported that livestock feeds with medicinal liquor is now making considerable profits.  A chicken raiser in China’s Jiangxi province mixed 30 types of herbs in his medicinal liquor.  The liquor is then used to feed the chicken for three to seven months.  The chicken are sold from 64 to 776 yuan per kg and the raiser earned 60 yuan for each sale.  The chicken are sold mainly to deluxe restaurants.  The liquor chicken have unique taste and medicinal value.
