09Aug Hidden Dry Corpse In The Signboard Fell and Scared People Who Were Drinking Coffee Downstairs
A signboard repairman was hired to change a new signboard for a commercial building at Miaoli on August 7. However he saw human bones inside a crack behind the signboard between third and forth floor. Police used aerial cable car to collect the bones. The skull was mounting with long hair and it was analyzed to be a woman’s corpse. It was estimated that the victim passed away for more than a year.
The Huang worker said that he changed the signboard at fourth floor the day before, and around five in the evening, he prepared to assembly the electric wires. When he looked down, he discovered two limb bones and a skull. He was terrified. He took the photo of the bones and reported to police immediately.
According to the police, when they were collecting the bones and evidences, there were few bones dropped to the ground. However the cafe at the ground floor still operated normally and there were a lot of crowd.
The Miaoli commercial complex was 12-storey high. Ground floor is a cafe, and second to sixth floors are KTV, and casino related shops. Many people with complicated background hang out there normally.
The incomplete skeleton had its hands and feet bones gone. From the skull it was predicted that the victim was a female. The hair was longer than shoulder, wearing G-string, black t-shirt, and a long skirt. The funeral staff estimated the victim was dead for more than a year. The forensics officers said that the possibility that the victim jumped from higher floor was very low.
Investigator hypothesized that the lady was trying to avoid police’s spot check and accidentally shocked by electricity to death.
