21Sep Chengdu Parturient Mother Sells Breast Milk For 300 Yuan Per Day Online
There is one mother, Huang, in Chengdu is selling her breast milk online. She claimed that she has extra breast milk, and she is willing to feed another child, in a condition that she charges 300 Yuan daily. The extra breast milk makes her feel uncomfortable, and she needs to get up every night to squeeze the milk out and throw them away. She wasted 2 kg of milk everyday. There is no legal restriction for selling breast milk. However buyer needs to be aware of the infectious diseases that can cause by breast milk, such as Hepatitis B, and also the purchased breast milk might not be suitable for another baby.

300 yuan is about US$44. 2kg of milk will be about 2L. That’s way too much. Normal human lactating capacity is about 800mL/day. But that is the total volume. This lady is talking about an excess of 2L/day, on top of what she feeds her own child.
Perhaps she’s “milking” the other ladies in her town as well. But more likely, you’re not going to get human milk. Just hope that it’s cows milk, and not water plus some weird inedible stuff to make it white.
Besides, unless you are a cow with an udder, you don’t want to squeeze it out onto a pail. It’ll be easier to use a pump to collect the milk.
