21Feb Driver Answers the Phone and Drives Into 10m deep Hole
On February 18, a car crashed into a 10 metres deep tunnel at Jiujiang city, Jiangxi Province. It happened at 1 pm that afternoon in front of the road junction of Lushan South road, Jiujiang, Jiangxi. A Beijing Hyundai sedan plated BNW809′s driver was answering the phone while driving. As a result he drove into the wire fence and crashed into the 10 metres deep tunnel of Diversion of South Gate Lake Water Project. The vehicle was severely damaged, but fortunately the driver was saved by the airbag and not seriously injured.
