In the morning on February 10, a woman held a kitchen knife and trying to blast the driver in the excavator at a demolition site at Dianchi Road, Kunming City. The driver continued to operate the excavator while the woman held onto the rear-view mirror to prevent falling off from the vehicle. The dangerous deadlock continued for three to four minutes. The window of the driver seat was cracked by the stones. The police later took the woman away.
The woman’s name was Zhang Qiong Zhen. She was married to Xiao Shao Bai Han Village in 1991. She was then divorced with her husband in 1995 and moved back to Zheng Jia He village. The driver was saying something which made Zhang mad and jumped onto the excavator. She held onto the rear view mirror with her left hand and smashed the driver seat windows with a kitchen knife holding with her right hand. The driver was alarmed and aware of the seriousness of this madness, so he started his excavator immediately wanting to get rid of Zhang. Zhang couldn’t hold her balance and hung on the rear view mirror while moving her legs to prevent rolling into excavator’s track. She was thrown down in the end. Zhang and her companions picked up rocks and threw at the excavator driver seat and the shielding mirror was cracked in the end. The driver escaped from the excavator immediately. Zhang then used the knife to cut off the pipe of the excavator, and the hydraulic pipe was cut off and the hydraulic oil flowed all over the ground.
Seeing their furniture were moved onto a pickup truck, Zhang quickly took a stick and hit the windshield of the truck. The windshield was smashed at once. At this time, the patrol police and police from Dianchi Road police station rushed to the scene. After failing to dissuade Zhang for her crazy act, the police pulled her into the police car.
