Chengdu, China has recently founded a “Global Business Elite Junior MBA Class”.  Annual school fee is 70,000 Yuan, and the graduates are able to enrol to American colleges and universities.  The class is consisted of only 12 people, and the goal is to train future business leaders and industry elites.  The MBA class was dubbed as “Second Generation of Riches” Class.

The first generation of riches sent their children overseas to attend universities because of the excellent teaching and living environment, and also the advanced academic thought.  As a result, study abroad almost becomes one of the symbols of “second generation of riches”.

The “Junior MBA Class” was opened on September 1 this year.  There were 11 students for its first intake.  The parents of the students were successful people in their fields, including mine boss, businessman, CEOs of Food Companies, and real estate developer.  Unlike normal education, “Junior MBA Class” has unique syllabus of teaching.  Its language classes requires student to understand the pictograph, as well as Chinese literatures, which are The Four Books (The Great Learning, The Doctrine of the Mean, The Confucian Analects, and The Works of Mencius) and The Five Classics (The Book of Songs, The Book of History, The Book of Changes, The book of Rites, and The Spring and Autumn annals).  Students will learn martial arts Changquan in their physical education classes, and Chinese cooking for their labor class.  In addition, students’ etiquette will be specialized trained by instructor.

Thousands of peasants start looking for jobs after the Lunar New Year.  According to the officials’ statistic, the unemployment rate is alarming high due to global economic crisis.  The photo showed featuring job-seekers were waiting for employers approaching them.  It was taken at Chengdu, Sichuan one Monday.

This is an unusual marriage-seeking ad.  The ad was printed on business cards.  The content on the card was full of self-reproach.  The text was from the parents, “The child was asked to study hard in the prime of life.  She was strived to be hardworking regardless of nature of human relations.  Any heterosexual contacts were opposed absolutely.  Today she was no longer young, and we were repentance and remorse…”

The light blue marriage-seeking cards were distributed at People’s Park.  The mother who was deeply self-reproving had been distributing hundreds similar cards in the past few years, hoping for a good marriage with the consent of her daughter.  However until now her daughter, 32, who had doctorate was still single.  The daughter was a living representative of “Three Highs” singles, which was high degree, high age, and high income.  The Three Hs had stopped many people from developing further relationship with her.

Some people suggested the mother to remove some requirements, for example ‘doctorates only’, but the mother thought that it would be better to keep that as this could attract more people to look at it.  The mother came to the park to distribute the marriage-seeking cards at least three days per week.  She was doing this for the past five years and there were less than five candidates approached.

It is said that ‘love needs a zebra crossing to be safe’.  Many Chengdu citizens would think that sentence is talking about the “Love zebra crossing” at He Jiang county pavilion.  The love zebra crossing is replaced during the Spring Festival and it is now Chengdu city’s red carpet.  Chengdu city traffic police said, “The painting of this love carpet is not only for newly wed, but also wish everyone who cross this road will feel the warmth and love.”

Valentine’s Day is near.  If you happen to be at Chengdu, don’t forget to visit this zebra crossing and take a photo with your love one.

There is one mother, Huang, in Chengdu is selling her breast milk online.  She claimed that she has extra breast milk, and she is willing to feed another child, in a condition that she charges 300 Yuan daily.  The extra breast milk makes her feel uncomfortable, and she needs to get up every night to squeeze the milk out and throw them away.  She wasted 2 kg of milk everyday.  There is no legal restriction for selling breast milk.  However buyer needs to be aware of the infectious diseases that can cause by breast milk, such as Hepatitis B, and also the purchased breast milk might not be suitable for another baby.
