It is said that ‘love needs a zebra crossing to be safe’.  Many Chengdu citizens would think that sentence is talking about the “Love zebra crossing” at He Jiang county pavilion.  The love zebra crossing is replaced during the Spring Festival and it is now Chengdu city’s red carpet.  Chengdu city traffic police said, “The painting of this love carpet is not only for newly wed, but also wish everyone who cross this road will feel the warmth and love.”

Valentine’s Day is near.  If you happen to be at Chengdu, don’t forget to visit this zebra crossing and take a photo with your love one.

Xiaheng said his mother met a monk on her way to the temple when he was 17.  The monk told her that if she wished both of her son to live long, one of them must sent to temple to become a monk.  His parents decided to follow what the monk said instead of letting both them die young.  Xiaheng was chosen to be a monk and it had been more than 70 years.

In 2000, Xiaheng had gone through 70 years of spiritual training.  His students thought that Xiaheng was old and stayed at foreign land, so they decided to find him a soulmate.  In 2003, Xiaheng came to the marriage agency and met Hu.  Both of them were in love since then.

When Hu was holding Xiaheng’s hand walking on the street, other people gave them weird look sometimes.  “Although there was a big age gap between Xiaheng and me, I think age is not a problem.  The important things are both of us understand, help and support each other to live a happy life.  All I need is to take care of my husband no matter how other people look at us.

Both of them had been a happy marriage for 3 years and the neighbourhood thought that was amazing.
